1 Knowledge is the greatest obstacle to Development and Innovation!
Today I will talk about how human knowledge and data from interaction with robots and feed back from automation systems can make us smarter. And how we ensure new knowledge accesses to development environments. Jerry Vinther Chief Project Officer CPO Business Academy Lillebaelt Denmark

2 The burning platform for innovation in the field of automation and robotics.
My head thinking about development and innovation is that we can all be blind of our knowledge. We are becoming more and more blind, as compared to that we get more and more knowledge. To create innovation, we must orient ourselves and stay focused on other directions. Should we renew us in our innovation of automation and robotics, we must work much more integrated with our solutions. We need to work across professional and have the courage to open our innovation compared to other companies and organizations. We need to grow our team with diversity, and other skills in our innovation.

3 Too many automation solutions being developed alone or become isolated solutions. They wasted after a few years, without adding the company a great value. Think more in contexts!

5 Today you will also meet – in space 😀; Oliver Pedersen, from the Danish Technological Institute, a leader in the development of knowledge about robotics in Denmark. Esben Østergaard, who is CTO at Universal Robots has developed the latest commercial amazing robot in the world, you know it for sure! Bo Stjerne Thomsen, who is Director at LEGO fondation. Has designed many models in use technology, and added LEGO a new and different thinking in relation to play and have fun.

6 Oliver Pedersen Chief Program Officer CPO

I have special knowledge within the market areas of robot technology, human interaction, and health and assistive living technologies and food culture. Specialties: market and business development, research and innovation methods including funding, sales of commercial activities including consultant services and hardware products.

7 Esben Østergaard CTO & CO-founder Universal Robots
I am one of the founder and inventors behind the UR robots. During the years from 2001 – 2005, as researcher and assistant professor in robotics and user interfaces at University of Southern, Denmark, I was part of creating the foundation for a reinvention of the industrial robot. In 2005, I founded Universal Robots together with two of my research colleagues. Besides my work as CTO, I am participating in national research projects and am also an external examiner at several universities in Denmark.

8 Bo Stjerne Thomsen Director for research & learning in LEGO foundation Denmark I am director for research & learning in the LEGO foundation, where I direct our long-term academic research based on the values of LEGO play and learning, and through an extensive collaboration with academic experts and research institutions. I am driven by an urge to learn, to develop and share the greatest ideas and achievements from world-class research and to make the most out of it for the children, for parents and for a community of creative professionals.
