Read children’s book discuss the five methods together.

You are a policemen. There has been a bank robbery. You are sent to interview an eyewitness.
Complete the police report by asking the following questions/statements to the eyewitness.

3. Explain in your own words what you think the bank robber was thinking.

4.Explain in your own words how you felt about the bank robber.

5. Give a physical description of the bank robber. List what the lips, nose, eyes, eyebrows, ears, chin, cheeks, hair, neck, eyelashes, forehead, mouth, skin color, and teeth looked like to the best of your ability.

16. Types of Characters
Round Character- the reader sees several sides to the character’s personality

17. Types of Characters
Flat Character- The reader sees only one or maybe two sides to the character’s personality

18. Types of Characters
Stock Character- generic, “off the shelf” character, very minor, not important

19. Types of Characters
Static Character- Characters has lots of action in the story but the character’s personality DOES NOT CHANGE

Dynamic Character- Characters has lots of action and the character’s personality DOES CHANGE
