26 Blogger of the Week “PEP2 Cohort is now taking off the old hat to have the new one from Rare. In the Philippines, although we have common conservation cause, we all have different positions, roles and responsibilities in our respective organizations---and these are our old hats. We will have to leave these hats to put on the new ones which Rare have started giving us on September 7, 2010.”

28 On the RARE Pride Experience
Meeting with the dignitaries of Rare is by far the most exciting and unforgetable experience for me. Of course I have met other people who are leaders too, like the Former President Ramos- when I attended the PEMSEA Congress in 2003 in Malaysia, or other VIPs in my country (Philippines) or the President of the university where I graduated. But to me meeting the President and CEO of Rare, Brett Jenks, and the Vice President for PEP II, Steve Watkins is the thing that I could never imagine.

29 On the RARE Pride Experience
“The Pride Campaign builds a special kind of fellowship that enhances relationships upon a common interest and cause.” “It is our way to express the thought that even in small MPAs, meaningful work is done if the people's learning process is afforded due importance.” “Extraordinary experience that no words to describe with.”
