19

20 AL- Ihsan, To worship Allah as if we see Him because even if we do not see him now He sees us all the time. Doing Good Things to yourself and Others Surat Qasas 77: "... and do good as Allah has done good to you.“ Surat -ul-Baqarah 195:"...and do good (to others); Surely Allah loves the doers of good."

21 The Signs of the 'Hour' Minor signs :
The desert people will gain wealth and compete in building high rises. The slave women will give birth to their mistresses. Major signs: The sun rising from the west The apperance of the false messiah, and the return of Prophet Isa (Jesus) to earth to kill messiah.

22 Quiz How did angel Jibreel appear to Prophet Muhammad pboh, and his companions? What did Angel Jibreel ask about? Why did he ask questions instead of just telling them about everything he wanted them to know? What are the etiquettes of learning? Why are they important? How do you apply them in class?

23 True or false Jibreel alayhi salam asked Prophet Muhammad about Islam, Iman and Ihasan only. Allah has instilled goodness (Ihsaan) on everything according to Qur’an and Hadith.   Muslims should not believe in books sent to other prophets before Islam such as: Zabur, Scriptures, Torah, Injeel. Belief in angels is one of the five pillars of Iman. Belief in the day of Judgment is compulsory for every Muslim. Rising of the sun from the west is one of the minor signs of the day of Judgment. Only Allah knows when the Day of Judgment is to happen. Muslim should believe only in Prophet Muhammad as he is the last prophet.

24 Unit A Chapter 4/Lesson 1 The World of Jinn Learning Objectives:
1. What are Jinn? 2. What are the different types of Jinn? 3. How are the Jinn different to us?

25 Surat-ul-Jinn Makkiyah, Verses:28 Reasons of revelation
The Devils were no longer able to approach the Heaven. Prophet Muhammed hadn't seen or read to the Jinn before. He went to Ukkah Market East of Makkah on the way a jinn listened to Prophet Muhammad pboh reading Qur’an. He asked the prophet to read to his fellow jinn. They were astonished by the Qur’an and so they became muslims.

26 What are the jinn? JINNS are created from FIRE. THEY can SEE us, BUT WE CANNOT SEE THEM. Allah created them to worship Him There are Muslim and unbeliever JINNS. JINNS were created before the HUMANS were created. JINNS are a SPECIES of creation with INTELLIGENCE

27 Characteristics of the jinn
Take different forms Invisible Travel fast Have the ability to go into or through objects They are capable of speech. They live in this earth and rise up to space Muslim Jinn Believe in Allah and Reject Iblees They listened to and loved Qur'an They never expected that one could dare to spread lies about Allah swt.

28 Misguidance and co- worship
Some human beings used to associate the jinn with Allah as partners and each group increased the other in misguidance Fortune-Telling, magic and Witchcraft Magicians working with devils "Mediums“ Magicians that entertain the crowds using skillful tricks are alright as long as don’t deal with jinn.

29 Islamic View on Magicians
The greatest Sin after Shirk

30 How do Believers protect themselves from the harm of evil Jinn
Keep a close relationship with Allah Do all your compulsory duties (pray 5 times per day, fast Ramadan, pay zakah, go to Hajj if you can.) Read Qur’an on daily basis. Practice Thikr or rememberance of Allah, every day. Say: “Eudhu bil-lahi minesh-shaytanirr-rrajeem”

31 Benefits of reading Surat-ul-Jinn
Whosoever recites Suratul Jinn will never be touched by the evil eye, magic, witchcraft or the evil plots of the Jinn while in this world, and that person will be in the company of Muhammad (blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny) and will beseech the Almighty by saying, Tafsir Al-Burhan, Volume 4, Page 390

32 QUIZ WHAT ARE JINN? WHAT CAN EVIL JINN DO TO MUSLIMS?
DO PEOPLE HAVE DEALINGS WITH THE JINN? IN WHAT WAY? IS DEALING WITH JINN PERMITTED IN ISLAM. HOW STRONG IS ISLAM ABOUT IT? HOW CAN A MUSLIM PROTECT HIMSELF AND HIS FAMILY FROM THE EVIL JINN?

33 TRUE OR FALSE Believing in the jinn is not important in Islam.
They are creations of no free will. Muslims seek protection of Allah from the devil jinn. “Eudhu-bil-lahi minash-shaytanirr-rrajim” Means: I seek protection of Allah from the cursed devil. Jinn are creatures that have distinct features like: invisibility, travel fast, can go into and through objects etc. Dealing with Jinn is harmful to both sides, and Magic is one of the Major sins that bring the wrath of Allah on us.
