“Un-” means “Not” Examples:- Most doctors agree that potato chips are unhealthy for you. They suggest you eat healthy snacks like fruits & vegetables. Why are these bills still unpaid? “Tri-” means “Three” Examples:- I was so excited when I could finally ride a bicycle instead of a tricycle. In my classroom in Los Angeles, 15% of the children are bilingual – they speak English & Spanish. One student is trilingual in Chinese, Vietnamese & English. Squares have four sides & four corners.
