3 How it’s used in Education
K – 2nd grade classrooms Children are able to tap on the blank tile from left to right to learn how to pronounce words with the silent E The app allows children to physically tap the tiles to create words

4 Overview of the Program
The app includes pictures and the words for children to visually see Focusing on the silent final E (Tape, Cape, Cake) Three skills within the program

5 Skill One: Blending When a child presses blank tiles from left to right the words blend together to create a word Blending stage does not show a picture right away Click the blank square to see the picture

6 Skill Two: Segmenting Pressing the blank tiles breaks apart the word into individual sounds Segmenting shows a picture first before the word is blending together

7 Skill Three: Reading Tapping the letter tiles from left to right to listen to the sounds to build the word Picture is not shown right away. Picture will be revealed after tapping the blank square
