Refuse (v. 24) – he desired the glory of God rather than men (Jn. 12:43)
Choose (v. 25) – he chose the harder, but right path (Josh. 24:14-15)
Appraise (v. 26) – he valued Christ more than anything else (Phil. 3:7-10)
Look (v. 27) – he focused on the goal (Col. 3:1-4)

3. Moses’ Faith Made Him…
Forsake (v. 27) – he separated himself from the past (2 Cor. 6:17-18)
Courageous (v. 27) – he feared God rather than men (Mt. 10:28)
Endure (v. 27) – he patiently persevered to the end (Heb. 6:11-12)
Obey (v. 28) – he followed God’s plan of salvation (Heb. 5:9)

4. Moses’ Faith and Our Faith
Let us have the same saving faith of Moses (Rom. 15:4)
This kind of faith is necessary (11:6,27)
This kind of faith comes by hearing God’s word (Rom. 10:17), and by trusting God’s word
