Reporting Tips Response should align to activities specifically named and/or required. Ensure all Critical Success Factors are addressed in every report, and the activities implemented are consistent with the approved plans. Avoid reporting on regular/required school business as a grant-specific activity.

Quarterly Implementation Report QIR “Parent meetings are ongoing throughout each six weeks. Each teacher keeps a parent log of all meeting and communications and makes an attempt to contact each parent.” DON’T

Quarterly Implementation Report QIR Family Fun Night Parent Meeting on 9/2/13. Event consisted of parent and student carnival type games facilitated by teachers, parent bulletin board building contests, principal dunking booth, and name-the-teacher-baby-picture contest. Guests included community partners: Wells Fargo Bank, Boys and Girls Club, HEB. Sign-In Sheet and Activity Log show 96 parents in attendance; relative to 230 students in school. Open House 9/12/13. Event consisted of assemblies by grade level, and rotating class schedule to meet all parents, light nutritious snacks for families, cafeteria and library tours, babysitting on-site provided by the YMCA, and family bus transportation provided by Cap Metro. Sign-In Sheet indicates 152 parents in attendance; relative to 230 enrolled students. DO
