Promotional strategies they employ to its fullest is celebrity endorsements. The biggest and best example Of this is the Jordan brand, which rocketed to success, this also works with the Lebron and Kobe line of shoes. These plans work unexpectedly well on their target audience.

The company does well in promoting itself as a respected company and focuses on the customers, they also Have pretty good sales margins. Its Weaknesses are that it struggles with labor laws in its factories and Since they are a premium product, the prices are a bit high. They also can suffer if the economy is a bit hurt, since More people will save money. Nike’s competitive edge over its competitors is its branding and its strong image it portrays. Mark Parker, President and CEO: Joined Nike as footwear designer, He’s led the way for Nike Air and a multitude of industry-breakthroughs in product design responsible for the growth of NIKE, Inc.'s global business portfolio.

5 Competition Nike’s major competition is Adidas, Under Armor, Reebok etc. The other almost the exact same products, shoes and apparel. They also have celebrity endorsers, Adidas More so. They can other almost the same quality of product for possibly better deals. Adidas also has mainstream cred due to the hip-hop and rap genre. Nike code of conduct: They do not hire anyone who is not 16 years or older so they can avoid child labor. Employment is voluntary and are not forced into joining. Workers aren’t worked to “death” and work Understandable hours. Even with these plans in action, Nike still faces some controversies against how they treat their workers.

6 Economic Current unemployment and inflation rate: 3.29% inflation, 4.6% unemployment. Consumer Confidence: economic indicator that measures the degree of optimism that consumers feel about the overall state of the economy and their personal financial situation. Consumer confidence for today is I would believe to be somewhere in between, the economy is doing better, but people are still cautious about spending their money. our customers attitude and lifestyles are that of an energetic and thrill seeking person, they like to be active and stay fit, but also have fun and stay casual. 7 Nike Air Force 1 Mid The Nike air force 1 are one of my favorite type of shoe, I love the design and its classic appeal, As well as its history with the brand (and it’s a bit cheaper than the Air Jordan 1’s). Demographic: Anyone can buy these, but are marked more towards the active teens and the athletic type. But since it is a lifestyle shoe, it can be worn by anyone. Geographic: the target market are people who live in more urban and suburban areas, high income places Of where people would afford and most likely buy from. Psychographic: The users would have somewhat different lifestyle. You have the active people who buy it for its Performance and handling, and you have the people (me) who just think the shoe looks good and comfortable To wear, and can wear out of the house for general living.
