This weekend keep in mind
Start acting like you are on a promotion course Behavioural Policy Punctuality No leaving the base until the end of each day unless leave granted (no one to leave to get lunch)
11
Selection of candidates
There are many more applicants than places available, so some will miss out. Do not let this dishearten you. If you are on this course, then you feel you are ready, and in due course, your time will come.
12
Selection of candidates
The Pre Selection Training Course is only ONE of the means of assessment and selection of candidates to attend course. We have been watching you since you joined the AAFC and there are many other factors such as your achievements, attendance, commitment to the SQN, general attitude and conduct which are also taken into account.
13
Selection of candidates
We are looking for you to start thinking and acting like the rank you aspire to. When faced with a situation consider what you would expect someone of that rank to do, and act accordingly.
14
After this weekend All candidates will receive debrief interviews, normally within a few weeks. Take the constructive feedback you receive on board. It may not be possible to advise who has actually been selected for course during the interviews.
15
Feedback interviews These interviews are conducted for the purposes of giving feedback on your performance and what improvements can be made. Everything said in those interviews in relation to attendance on a course is ALWAYS subject to the positions we get on the Promotion Course from the Wing.
