XAMPP Download and installation:
Login to the Windows network and ensure you can access your H: drive
Create a new directory called “downloads” on this drive.
Visit the download page at Apache
and download the xampp package to the H:\download directory
Install the xampp package to a directory called xampp on your H: drive
SQL workbook files installation using phpMyAdmin:
Using the “xampp control panel” icon on your desktop – start up apache and mysql
Start your browser (Internet Explorer) and go to (you may need to set English as your working language the first time you do this)
Navigate to phpMyAdmin (using the menus on the left) and create a new database called “sql-workbook”
Open a new SQL window and import the tables and data from the SQL Workbook into the database you just created.
