Thank you for helping us start the year off on the right foot! You’ve probably noticed that your student is tired and adjusting to the new routines at school. Please help them get plenty of rest and are ready to “hit it” next week! Our core curriculum will begin on Monday, September 12th. Our class will be working in Spring Board which is the language arts curriculum. Spring Board is a great because it allows each student to really feel challenged in their writing, comprehension and inferring skills. For math, our class will be working with Envisions, this class is a great combination of pre-algebra and algebra skills. I will make myself available two days a week for after school tutoring once we get started in our lessons. In social studies, we will be studying ancient civilizations and their geography. z

If you teach just ELA- page 2 is for you!
If you are self contained- Page 1 & 3 may be your best bet and copy them back to back!
Before printing, go to save as  change file format to PDF  rename it  hit save. This will allow it to print correctly!
Another option is to upload this to your class website so all of the students will have access to this newsletter at home. It can also serve as a study guide for the week! Hope this helps!! 
