Overview of PROFITsystems’ Integration with DispatchTrack
2
PROFITsystems has identified certain best-of-breed service providers with whom it has chosen to create a data sharing integration to provide unique benefits to its clients. DispatchTrack offers a cutting-edge delivery route optimization, mapping, and GPS-tracking field management software. More information on DispatchTrack is available on their website:

This document is intended to provide a high level overview of the benefits of the integration and a general illustration of the steps involved. It is not intended to be a technical or instructional document. Please call our Support department for this information.
4
Data integration is accomplished by first setting a delivery via code and delivery date in the RETAILvantage sales transaction (please note this integration tool only exists in RETAILvantage, not earlier versions of our system). To initiate the data file transfer, a small application is provided by DispatchTrack to be installed on your workstation. Upon activation, you select the date of the scheduled deliveries.
5
DispatchTrack software moves the data file from RETAILvantage to their server for route optimization and mapping.

7
Logging into RETAILvantage’s web services portal gathers the necessary store identity by using the Solution Center login ID and password.
8
The Import data tool transfers the scheduled deliveries electronically
The Import data tool transfers the scheduled deliveries electronically. Import data has two functions: update the delivery stop and delivery time window and also, once the deliveries are completed, selects them for billing as well.
9
View Delivery Schedules displays the Stop # and the Delivery Times once the deliveries have been routed in DispatchTrack. Everyone in the store has real-time information to assist the customer when she inquires about the upcoming delivery .
10
DispatchTrack shows all of the details about the delivery including the current status of the delivery (finished in this case) and any notes made by the customer or driver during the delivery process.
11
Upon completion of the deliveries for the day, the store accomplishes the file transfer again to upload the information about the customers’ transaction including delivery notes and rejected items creating a partial delivery.
12
RETAILvantage receives the file from DispatchTrack and the deliveries for that day are selected for posting. The posting process finalizes the transactions. It is recommended to review the sales selected for billing using the sales edit list before the sales are finalized.
13
Remarks entered on the tablet by the delivery technician are transferred into RETAILvantage automatically and become part of the permanent sales history for that customer.
14
DispatchTrack also shows a finished status for the day’s deliveries.
