FAQ’s What’s new in Studio Logix Designer related to the 5069 I/O? Where are the configuration tabs in a modules properties? Why can’t I modify some of the configuration parameters? Why don’t I see all of a modules available options? Developers moved away from a Tab based configuration – called categories. Output parameters are displayed and cannot be edited in properties. Some features not available with the default configuration and must change the module definition to pick up some of a modules new features.

FAQ’s Will the 5069 I/O work with any other controllers?
The 5069 I/O will not work with any other generation controllers other than the 4th generation which include the ControlLogix L8 as well as all of the controllers. L2, L3, L2x, L3x, L4x, CMX 5370 L1, CMX 5370 L2, CMX 5370, L1, L55, L6x, L7 – are not compatible!

FAQ’s What port number is specified when communicating out of a 5069 controllers? What is the correct path in a message instruction? When the controller is in DLR/Ring mode the port specified in the communications path is 2, IP address of the target device.
