The NHD is a comprehensive set of digital spatial data representing the surface water of the United States using common features such as lakes, ponds, streams, rivers, canals, watersheds and oceans.
Available in two datasets
1:24,000 Scale – High Resolution
1:100,000 Scale – Medium Resolution
Is the surface water component of the National Map

Florida Panhandle Land Use / Land Cover
Land Use is the human modification of the Natural Environment. Land Cover refers to the physiographic description of features occurring on the land surface and include vegetation types, water, or soil types. This layer is based on FDOT’s 1999 Florida Land Use, Cover and forms Classification System and is classified based on 2004 DOQQ program imagery. A 2007 version is in development
