4 Alsop – “A school leading a community”

5 Why FAITH 2017? After Brexit we devised a six-month programme of activities to foster community cohesion and highlight that “We are far more united and have far more in common with each other than the things that divide us.”

6 Alsop – “A school leading a community”
Faith 2017 was devised to inspire young people to be compassionate, responsible citizens able to listen to others, discover common values and work together in their communities.

7 Alsop – “A school leading a community”
We worked with different faith traditions to demonstrate how our school can be a force for the Common Good.

8 Alsop – “A school leading a community”
The initiative consisted of a series of events, talks, visits, workshops and social action projects. Our outstanding multi- faceted outward facing initiative has gained both national and international interest.

9 Alsop – “A school leading a community”
Jenny Sinclair worked with Alsop to produce a Common Good Schools Toolkit. It demonstrated how a school rooted in its community can be a force for the common good.
