Current movement within ETST BRAN towards 60GHz indoor system
September 2003 Current movement within ETST BRAN towards 60GHz indoor system In September 2003 meeting, there was a presentation from a BROADWAY rep. to create a working group within ETSI BRAN to study the extension of existing WLANs and WPANs in the 60GHz band. (doc# : bran34d018) In this presentation, IEEE mm-WIG has been introduced to ETSI BRAN. European frequency issues are under investigation towards next BRAN meeting. Following companies have already expressed their support for the creation of 60GHz working group in BRAN (Motorola, France Telecom, Intracom, Thomson Multimedia, CEA LETI, IMST, TNO) Kei Obara, Siemens
