6. Mu Sigma Rho
Mu Sigma Rho is the national honor society for statistics students, both graduate and undergraduate.  The purpose of Mu Sigma Rho is the promotion and encouragement of scholarly activity and recognition of achievement in statistics.
We have at least one induction per year hosted by Stat Club.

8. Mu Sigma Rho Eligibility criteria for undergraduate students:
At least two years of college coursework completed
At least 8 credits of statistics coursework completed, with at least 5 of those credits at the 400 level or higher
A GPA of at least 3.40 in all undergraduate-level statistics courses
An overall GPA of at least 3.20
Eligibility criteria for graduate students:
At least 12 credits of graduate-level statistics coursework
A GPA of at least 3.50 in all graduate-level courses
In good standing as a graduate student

10. Guest Speaker Matthew Beckman Chair of Undergraduate Studies
Department of Statistics
Current research interests include statistics education, educational assessment, and industrial statistics.

11. Guest Speaker James Rosenberger Director of SCC and Online Programs
James L Rosenberger is Professor of Statistics at Penn State University. His recent activities includes teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Statistics, research in design of experiments and genomics and he provides overall leadership, development and oversight of the Penn State Department of Statistics online education programs.
