3 What is IMPACT? IMPACT stands for Influencing My Peers with A Christ-like Testimony It is a semester long individual and team competition. Points are earned for things helpful to you spiritual growth and walk. Each week you will turn in a score sheet that will earn you and your team points.

5 Terms and Conditions Your main source of points is your weekly scoresheet. Here’s what you need to know: Scoresheets must be completed, signed and turned in by 7 pm each Wednesday. Use a score sheet corresponding to your team’s color. Apple-Blue Android-Green

6 Terms and Conditions You MUST sign your scoresheet as a testimony to its accuracy! If you are out of town/sick, send your scoresheet with someone if possible. If it’s not possible let PA know and bring it the next time you’re at church.

7 Terms and Conditions “What kinds of things do I receive points for on my IMPACT score sheet each week?” Glad you asked!

9 Attendance Includes attendance at BBC services and activities
This assumes you are present when the service/activity begins and concludes Full credit available for attending church if out of town or listening to service online if sick

11 Christian Service You can receive up to an additional 250 points for a variety of service projects Service projects must be at least 30 minutes You may do 2 per week You cannot receive compensation Does not include church ministries

12 Tract Distribution You can earn 25 points per tract you hand out person-to-person 250 point max per week Given directly to a person not placed on a windshield, etc. Tracts available through the church

14 Sermon Notes You can receive 100 points per service for sermon notes taken Show them to a youth staff member and have them initial your score sheet

15 Sermon Notes Bonus You may earn additional points for listening to the 8 sermons on soul winning located on the youth group website These sermons are worth 100 points apiece with a 200 point bonus for listening to all 8 Use the sermon note card for these

17 Sermon Notes Bonus You may turn this card in at any time during the semester, but you may only turn it in once! Sermons must be listened to in order

19 Bible Memory Each week 4 memory verses are given for you to memorize and earn points Verses must be said before 7pm Wednesday night from memory to a youth staff member (including reference) from the KJV. Again, reciting of verses will end promptly at 7:00 PM!

20 Bible Memory Passages may be quoted to any youth staff member at their convenience Please be considerate of their time and be prepared, there are no “helps!” The first passage alone is worth 500 points, first and second together 1000, first-third 2000 and all 4 together are worth 3000 (weekly max is 3000) Verses must be said together to gain all points

21 High IMPACT Passages You may earn an additional 4000 points per passage for memorizing any of the 6 block passages listed. These may be said in any order All other verse rules apply

22 Memory Bonus Each teen can receive a one-time bonus of 1000 points by reciting the Books of the Bible in order.

24 Visitors You can receive points for visitors you bring with you to church/activities! Every first time teen is eligible 1000 points for first visit 2000 for second 3000 for third 2000 point bonus if your guest comes to SS one of the first 3 visits A guest is one who has never attended a BBC service/activity

26 Devotions You can receive points for simply spending time with God in personal devotions each day At least 20 minutes of personal Bible reading/prayer time School Bible requirements do not count towards this 300 points per day, 400 point bonus if you do all 7 days!

28 Bible Quiz We will have 3 Bible Quizzes this semester
These will be over the chapter(s) listed on the calendar in your booklet They will focus on knowledge of the passage generally and specifically All rules will be covered the night of the quiz

29 Afterglow Challenge Your team is responsible for 1 afterglow this year
You get to plan it all! Food Cost Game/activities Clean up Points to be awarded!

30 Team Participation This year, your team will be a part of the Wednesday night service time You will participate in either testimonies or special music These are not for points, but to help prepare our hearts for the message time and to encourage each other spiritually

31 Awards 1st and 2nd place Certificate $100 towards camp at the WILDS
$25 gift card Names on the IMPACT award plaque

32 Awards 3rd-5th place Certificate $50 towards camp at the WILDS
$15 gift card

33 Awards 6th-10th place 11th-20th place Certificate $10 gift card

34 Awards Faithful Friend Award
Given to the teen who brings the most guests during IMPACT $25 gift card Book

35 Awards IMPACT Leadership Award
Awarded to the teen who goes above and beyond in the areas of enthusiasm, direction, participation, performance, attitude, and overall testimony in regards to IMPACT Name on the award plaque Gift TBA

36 FAQs We are going out of town and won’t be here Wednesday. Can I turn my scoresheet in the following Wednesday? YES! I left my sermon notes at home in my other Bible, but I really took them. Can I have at least partial credit? Sorry, but they must be present to count.

37 FAQs Can I say the regular verse passages in any order?
No, they must be said in the order they are listed to earn all points.

38 Mission Trip Qualification
The first qualification for mission trip is IMPACT participation/performance We are not looking for perfection, but consistency

The goal for mission trip this year: 35,500 points-that’s averaging… 600 attendance points 1000 verse points 1750 devotion points 100 sermon note points Saying your books of the Bible
