2 What Are They? A contraction is two words that are transformed into one.

Many people use contractions in their everyday talking. Unfortunately, contractions in writing are often misspelled. If you want to use them, we need to learn how to write them properly. 5 When to Use Contractions
We all love making things easier for ourselves so a lot of people use them all the time. This is not always a good thing. It can be used when you’re writing informally, like in letters, poems, songs and scripts. It should not be used in formal writing like when you write essays.
