1 Let me introduce you to Lutheran Church Extension Fund, or LCEF
Let me introduce you to Lutheran Church Extension Fund, or LCEF. We exist for the sole purpose of empowering ministries in Kingdom work. The concept of “church extension” has evolved since 1902, when several congregations banded together and raised $400 to start a new congregation in a neighboring community. Now we have 28 member LCMS districts and more than 50,000 investors also intent on seeing the church expand so that more people can hear the Gospel. We praise God for all those who have contributed to growing LCEF into the ministry it is today and the opportunity to serve the ministries of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
