12 Assessment of Student’s Course Evaluation
Electrical Engineering Department Summary Analysis and Recommendations for EE: Out of 28 courses that have been selected for course evaluation there are four courses below the range of agreement. Despite they are neutral, it is not acceptable. Those courses are: (EE 101, EE 111, EE 374 and EE389). They have average below 2.6/5.0. The EE department has to investigate the reasons behind this low average by calling the teacher and conduct further oral contact with the students. Also the teaching methods and materials including the exams need through investigation. No courses got very high score, the maximum score was 4.49. Final analysis of EE course evaluation for the first semester revealed that, out of the 28 tested courses, 85.7% of the courses got agree or totally agree. Meanwhile about 14.3% of the total courses did not convince the students and thus, they considered them as neutral.
