2. Patient Survey
During the three months September to December 2011 the PPG met on a number of occasions with the practice to design a patient survey which it felt would provide information from a cross section of our patient population on the services provided by the practice. It was agreed that we would survey a total of 250 patients attending the practice during January 2012 and also ask the patient virtual group to complete the survey resulting in about 290 surveys being handed out. Of these we received back a total of 197 completed forms. The results of the survey are below and for ease have been presented in graphical form – pie charts. The PPG has discussed the results and are encouraged by them but feel that there are a number of areas that could be improved. The PPG will now meet with the practice to discuss the results further and prepare an action plan. This will take place during April 2012 and any actions implemented during
