Grayson HS of Technology Open House on February 4th from 5:00-7:00 pm Registration: February 1st Grayson Representative will be at PRHS on February 18th Requirements: To attend Grayson students must be a rising Junior/Senior and have at least 11 credits. Transportation will NOT be provided by the county. Student is responsible for their own transportation. Audio Engineering Commercial Photography Culinary Arts Digital Media & Design IT & Network Systems Law Enforcement & Criminal Justice Music Technology Robotics Engineering Sports Medicine TV & Video Production Veterinarian Science Students much have completed 11 credits and be a rising Junior to attend Grayson High School.

10 Peer Leading Class Peer Leading class at Peachtree Ridge High School focuses on students helping others through leadership and service Peer Leading is a Social Studies elective and counts for HOPE Peer leaders are selected via an application process Peer Leading Applications are available in the Counseling Office and are due February 2nd Rising juniors and seniors who have a 82% average or above are eligible to apply

17 Preliminary HOPE Scholarship Calculation
To see a student’s current standing follow the following steps: Log on to Locate the box titled “shortcuts” in upper right column & select “Your HOPE GPA” Create an account or log in to an existing account After following the prompts it will bring you to “Hope GPA” Fill in last name, date of birth, and social security no. Select Peachtree Ridge High School The final screen will show the student’s HOPE GPA. See the recalculation of a student’s GPA by selecting “View Your Detailed GPA Report” *Student’s social security number must be on file at PRHS in order to access preliminary HOPE calculation For specific questions regarding the calculation process, please contact the Georgia Student Finance Commission at

20 HOPE Scholarship Information
Students must have a 3.0 academic GPA Hope GPA eligibility and weighting of courses are determined by the Georgia Student Finance Commission not PRHS Courses included in the HOPE GPA include: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Foreign Language, and core electives Please note that a copy of the student’s actual social security card is needed for Hope eligibility.

Zell Mill requirements are a core GPA 3.7 with a 1200 on Math & Verbal SAT, or ACT composite score of 26 or higher. To maintain Zell Miller you must keep a 3.3 GPA or higher in college..
