Long downward trend since Dec 2015, the figure for January has increased compared to December from – 21.54 Violence with Injury 1 Alerts: was 3 the previous month. (West, North and East in alert). Outcome 16 accounts for 25% of the outcomes so far this year (April – January) for this crime category, at the same stage last year this figure was 20%, the difference in volume is 757, this is an increase of 37%. There has been an increase in the volume outcome rate from 220 in December to 266 in January. The average of solved crimes for the last 12 months was 267. Forcesight: England & Wales Outcome Ratio: 28.2%, North West ratio: 27.3%, Merseyside 25.6% and Merseyside is 5/7 for MSG. GMP has a similar ratio to Merseyside with an outcome rate of 25.7%, with Cleveland and West Yorkshire have a lower outcome rate than Merseyside, both have an outcome rate of 22.1%. Area Central 0 Alerts: The figure for Central has increased in January compared to December increasing from 98 to 122, the trend is a sporadic one. East 1 alert: : The outcome come rate has been on a downward trend for the last 8 months apart from November (110) when there was a significant rise. For outcome Volumes the figure has increased from 220 in Dec to 266 in January, this is an increase of 20% (46) crimes. The figure for East has increased in January compared to December increasing from 43 to 53, the trend is a sporadic one. North 1 alert: B4 in alert, the volume outcome has went from 11 in December to 19 in January, the current trend is an upwards one since October. The figure for North has increased from 36 to 47, the trend is a sporadic one. West 1 Alert: A1 in alert, the volume outcome has increased in January to 15 from 12 in December, however the current trend is a downwards trend from August. The figure for West has remained stable compared to December, the trend is a sporadic one. Violence without Injury 3 Alerts (All in alert) The outcome rate has remained stable for the last 8 months varying from 14.8% to 18.8%. (volume outcome 197 to 243). Outcome 16 accounts for 35% of violence without injury this year, compared to 28% last year, for volume this is an increase of 62% (1771) crimes. Since July the trend for Outcome 16 has been an upwards one increasing from 413 to the January figure of 571. Outcome 18 has seen an increase of 49% (688) crimes compared to the same period last year. The number of solved has remained stable since June with the figures ranging from 192 to 243. An average figure for the solved outcomes for the last 12 months was 217. England & Wales Outcome ratio: 19.1%, North West ratio: 21.5%, Merseyside 17.8% and Merseyside is 6/7 for MSG. Cleveland has a similar outcome ratio compared to Merseyside with 17.9%. Only West Yorkshire has a lower rate with 14.3%. Area: Central 3 alerts: The figure for Central has decreased from 94 to 84 in January, the trend is an upwards one from October. All neighbourhoods in alert except E5,E6 & E7. East 3 alerts: The figure for East has increased from 42 to 70 in January, the trend is a sporadic one. All neighbourhoods in alert except C3 & D1. North 2 alerts: The figure for North has remained stable over the last 3 months (45 & 46), the trend is an upwards one. All neighbourhoods in alert except B3. West 3 alerts: The figure for West has increased from 38 to 43 in January, the trend is an upwards one since October. All neighbourhoods in alert except A4. Open
