2. Real World Problem
Puppies chew up comfortable outside dog beds, and you want them to be warm and cozy. My dad and I have invented the Puppy Proof Bed, so your dogs can be nice and cozy.

3. Market Research
We found other dog warmer beds, but they looked flimsy and they cost about $150!

4. Material Research
My Dad and I researched for materials after our first design session.

6. Bed Construction
My Dad and I built a prototype bed for Scout (my dog) to test…but I had to try it first!

7. Final Design
Our testing showed that Scout could get the soft bed out of our frame, so we built a firm pegboard cover with a “soft” carpet on top.
The weather has been warmer now, and Scout still seems scared of the bed.

8. Additional Testing
We brought the bed to my Grandma’s house for her dog to use. Annie loved it!
