Here today – Panikos Efthimiou (Chair), Heather Vasco (Charities Trust) and Helen Von Trotsenburg (Bell Fundraising) Formed October 2007 Membership organisation of Payroll Giving Agencies (PGA’s), Professional Fundraising Organisations (PFO’s) and Donor Monitoring Organisations (DMO’s)

3 Changes to Payroll Giving legislation
Effective 6 April 2014 Reduces maximum processing time from 60 to 35 days where PGA has received correct information from company charity is known (received donations in past 12 months) In all other cases 60 day maximum applies

Central source of information No subsidy for costs of implementing changes Charities Trust changing to bi-monthly payout to charities from May 2014

5 Good News – Payroll Giving is growing!
Figures from HMRC for 2012/13 (revised December 2013)…. £155 million including £7.5 million matching donations Over 1 million employees now giving 48% employers now covering the admin fee 3400 Quality Marks awarded in 2013 More Employer Platinum Awards than previous year
