HALLOWEEN PARTY PLANNERS Needed: The Halloween party will be on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 1:14-2:45. If you would like to plan party games, make goodie bags, and/or food-drink for the party, please write a note in the Lark notebook to let your child’s teacher know. Each second grade will have their own party. Thank you to Gretchen Eickhoff and Candice Naatz for volunteering for Mrs. Goergen’s class party.

WELCOME TO OLIVER GRAFTON WHO JOINED MRS. HANKEN’S CLASS!!
RCTC THEATRE PERMISSION FORMS: Please sign and return the yellow permission form and $3 for your child to go to Rochester Community Technical College’s play of Junie B. Jones is not a Crook! Please return permission form and $3 by Nov. 1. (No one will denied this trip due to lack of funds. We must have the permission form, however. )
HALLOWEEN PARTY MONEY: Please send in $8 to help pay for 3 class parties throughout the school year (Halloween, Christmas, and Valentines’)…$2 for each party, and $2 for the auction item and carnival baskets we make. It is always something wonderful.
GMEF AUCTION: November 18th is the date. The GM Second Graders will be donating a canvas picture which include our feet and a cute verse. Second graders are asked to wear or bring jeans to change into for our picture we will take next Wednesday, Oct. 25.
JACKETS ARE NEEDED: The weather has now changed and we do need jackets for recess. You might even want to send a hat and gloves. The wind can really blow on the playground. Thank you.
AR TREATS: If you would like to donate for our AR rewards, please send in individually wrapped candy. Halloween candy is everywhere and this might be the best time to buy it. Thank you!

ABSENCE: If your child is absent, please the teacher and the elementary office to let them know your child will be absent. You may also call the elementary office at to leave a message on the school answering machine during late hours.
TENNIS SHOES: Tie tennis shoes are required for phy. ed. Students may keep a clean pair of shoes here at school and change in the morning before phy. ed.
