Objectives of Molecular Team
Improve the genetic resources for small trees Identifying the genes involved Monitoring gene expression on collected samples Correlating phenology with physiological switches Here you should briefly describe the objective of the Molecular team. Correlating phenology with physiological variations. With a special emphasis about Floral regulation, shoot branching and juvenilty Here describe the procedure and emphasis on the fact that the genetic resources were very poor for these species. You can mention the different type of tissue we collected (stem, leaves (mature and immature), axillary buds, termial buds, flowers) To understand the genetic and physiological regulation of: Floral initiation Shoot architecture Juvenility
