Foods Japan is known for their amazingly tasty food! But not just taste. Appearance, the way it’s cooked, and much more! But let’s get to know what most of them are! Food in Japan can be cooked in a kitchen, but their tradition is in front of you! These are called Steakhouses, where the stove is in front of your table. These places are very popular in Japan.

Manga and Anime Manga and Anime are ways the Japanese draw. Manga is usually used for books. In Japanese it means “comics.” Anime is the drawing and style they do in movies and kids shows. It refers to the animation style. It’s either hand-drawn or computer-generated. Anime and Manga share many characteristics, including: exaggerating of physical features, imagination, and visualising the characters. These are very popular and a unique version of their drawing style.

Beautiful settings Mt Fuji is the highest mountain peak in Japan. It stands 3, metres. The Japanese name for her is Fuji San. Mt Fuji is an attractive cone, and many artistic minds choose to paint it. The Koi ponds are another special thing in Japan. They are big ponds with big Koi Fish, and can publically be found in the centre of gardens. The fish are quite spectacular! The Cherry Blossom Gardens are one of the most spectacular Japanese traditions. They only blossom in 1 season : Spring. They were originally planted after people who died in the wars and were to be remembered.

Origami Origami is a traditional Japanese creation. Its name comes for the Japanese word “ori”, meaning folding, and “gami” meaning paper. Some Japanese take it seriously, and sell some beautiful creations. There is a day called Origami Day, when the Japanese create origami cranes to remember their families that died in the war.
