5. Rationale to start Sufficiency Economy
Most Households before 1990 were very poor and under debt
Monocrop i.e rice cultivation failed
People were migrating out of the village to look for better opportunity
Mr. Boontem Chaila brought socio-economic uplift in the village in 1990 by adopting Sufficiency Economy Concept
Now, most of the Households have cleared debts, reduced migration and most of the households produce most of the living necessaries
SE concept is spreading to other provinces

To stop youth migration out of the village
