All non-zero digits are significant 13479 Hugged zeros (zeros between other significant digits) are significant 4.002 Leading zeros (zeros in front of non-zero digits) are not significant Trailing zeros (zeros that are after non-zero digits) are significant only if they are to the right of the decimal point
