2. Gianni Versace was born in Reggio Calabria in Italy. On December 2 1946.
Gianni started fashion designing at a young age because his mother was a dress maker.
He also studied architecture befor he moved to milan to study fashion design.
1970s he impressed many fashion designers and he began a suede and leather collection.
Gianni Versace got married to his husband Antonio D'Amico, in but it was ended by Gianni’s death in July 15, when he got shot.

The First boutique Gianni opened was in Milan, which is italys second largest city. They became popular in an instant because Gianni was sort a famous.
What inspired Gianni in his work was Andy Warhol , a painter, and ancient roman, greek art, and Abstract art.
He has a menswear collection, frangrance, home furnishings as well as clothes.
He has also done costume for some films.
Some sunglasses by Versace, Lady gaga wore Versace for a whole month a vintage dress he created before he died. There’s also a fragrance he made for men.

Gianni Versace is very famous for this Black dress that he made out of silk and lycra fabric with oversized golden safety pins .
Elizabeth Hurley wore it to a premier.
