Is a neighborhood composed largely of arts and entertainment venues. Deep Ellum developed in the late 180s as a residential and commercial neighborhood on the east side of downtown Dallas. The real claim to fame for Deep Ellum is the Jazz & Blue venues that were located there. St Charles Place

This neighborhood is in North Dallas. S lot of doctors, entrepreneurs, industrialist, lawyers and oil businesspeople moved to the arer. The homes that they built were country style estates that housed horses and stables. Preston Road is the main road in this area. BoardWalk

Is a public improvement district and it is an upscale neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. Uptown is known as the most pedestrian friendly arears in Texas. The area was not created until the late 20th and early 21st century. It is popular with a diverse group of people. Uptown, Dallas Illinois Avenue

J Marvin Gardens This is a retail-residential development in the Uptown are of Dallas Texas. One of the main streets in this area is McKinney Avenue. It is populated with retail, restaurant and entertainment tenants. It is pet and pedestrian friendly.

Oak Lawn , Dallas ATLANTIC AVENUE
Is a neighborhood is Dallas. It is one of the wealthier areas of Dallas. The population consists mainly of urban professionals. Oak Lawn is a magnet for counter culture with inexpensive apartments. Illinois Avenue This is a small shopping and entertainment district. They have an eclectic mix of restaurants, stores, they have a new apartment complex which was completed in They also have a Oak Cliff Film Festival that has caught the attention of Texas Monthly. My mother, daughter and I, we love to just walk around the Bishop Art District to eat and window shop. Love this area, one of my favorites in the Dallas area.

Medeterrian Avenue Has turn of 20th century and mid-20th century housing, plenty of parks and close proximity to the central business district of downtown Dallas. The boundaries of oak cliff are Interstate 30 on the north, Interstate 35 on the east and Interstate 20 on the south. Oak Cliff was originated in December Oak Cliff use to be predominantly white, before desegregation.

Baltic Avenue South Dallas
It houses the Fair Park which is a recreation and educational complex. It is home to nine museums, six performance facilities, a lagoon, and the largest Ferris wheel in North America. Many of the buildings were constructed ibn 1936 and most are still there. Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Together Dallas have begun a campaign to revitalize the area in an effort to attract more homeowners and foster economic development. Tennessee Avenue The development of Kessler Plaza began in the 1930s band continued in the 1950s. The last parcel of land was developed in 70s. It is known for the picturesque cottages that display brick or Austin store exteriors. It is one of the older Oak Cliff neighborhoods. It belongs to the Kessler Plaza Neighborhood Association or the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving older homes and strengthening neighborhoods in Oak Cliff Area.

Hamilton Park Ventor Avenue
The area was named after a physician named Dr. Richrad T. Hamilton, who was a physician and also a black civic leader. The neighborhood was dedicated in October of 1953 and opened in May 1954 and was completed by This area contained a shopping center, a park, a twelve grade school, 742 single family homes and an apartment complex.

Atlantic Avenue Cedars
They originally had Victorian homes, which belonged to the wealthy businessmen, lawyers and politicians. This was the home of the Jewish Community, which included a synagogue. Now most of these things are gone. It has started to see changes with Dart development, loft retail development the South Side Lamar, the Dallas Police Headquarters. For entertainment they have Gilley’s Dallas and Poor David’s Pub. There are plenty of attractions in this area too Atlantic Avenue Cedars
