“To provide human resource practitioners and scholars in the public sector in Africa with a networking platform for advocacy, professional development of human resource management, information and knowledge sharing to enhance organizational and individual capacity for effective performance”.

3. BRIEF HISTORY
Idea first discussed at the 2007 IPMA-HR International Symposium in Cape Town, South Africa.

4. The Launch of APS-HRMnet in Arusha
First capacity building workshop in Arusha, Tanzania (2009)
