2. Hate is a strong word Hate is a very strong word
Dictionary – “to have strong dislike or ill will for; loathe; despise”
We associate Christianity with love, forgiveness, mercy, and compassion
But the Bible teaches us to hate

3. SCRIPTURES
Psalm 97:10a - You who love the Lord, hate evil!
Amos 5:15a - Hate evil, love good; Establish justice in the gate.

Jude  keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.

Same is true of sin – abortion, cursing, homosexuality, gossip, cruelty, lying

We do this every day
We hate some of the things we do
I yell at myself when I play golf
I hate the shot I just made
BUT: I still like me
