2 Perception It is the process of selecting, organizing, and interpreting these sensory informations into meaningful and coherent picture of the world. It is your interpretation of reality after information is selected, organized and interpreted.

Completeness – answer all questions that are asked 5W’s: who, what, when, where, why How (announcements, requests orders, or Other informative messages Conciseness - eliminate wordy Expressions Include only relevant informations (stick to the point)

7 Consideration - bear in mind the target of the message
Avoid unnecessary repetition ( unless stressing a point, repetition without reason becomes redundant and boring) Find single word substitute for phrases Ex: along the same lines; at this time; due to the fact that; during the time of the day; for the reason that; from the point of view of; allow me to say; in reply, I wish to say, etc.. Consideration - bear in mind the target of the message Focus on You instead of I and We Show reader benefit and interest Emphasize positive pleasant attitude

Congratulations for those who came early to the meeting this morning. Avoid unpleasant words to show consideration: We are closed this time, please be back tomorrow at 10 am. Show reader the benefit or interest: Since you cannot come here as scheduled, we’ll just have to all the informations.
