Theoretical faisibility study about long-term preservation in general local storage for the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries E-Depot project Implementation of software: Digitool/Ex Libris with Elsevier data (consortia licence) Successful from a technical point of view But requires significant input of manpower and resources Result: no operation as a permanent service for Switzerland 2012 Portico & LOCKSS evaluation As possible alternatives for providing access to licensed material
