Facts about the Source of the River Severn
location Plynlimon, Cambrian Mountains, Wales elevation 610 m (2,001 ft) Two hundred and twenty miles (354km) and four counties later, it is swallowed by the Bristol Channel and eventually the Atlantic Ocean.

the River Severn. The river goes into the sea near Bristol.
