This is a true story. It took place in Amsterdam, Holland荷兰 in the early 1940s after the German Nazis had occupied占领 most of Europe. The Nazi Party纳粹党 ruled Germany from 1933 to One of their key policies政策 was to kill all the Jews犹太人 in Europe. If any persons known to be Jews were found, they would be sent to concentration camps集中营 farther east, mostly in Poland波兰. Families were separated and transported运输 in trains.
