2 Match Card is completed before game commences
Player must have an official handicap, with max handicap for boys at 28 and girls 36. There is no restrictions for min handicap. Positions 1 & 2 play off scratch, and positions 3 – 6 play off handicap. Maximum number of shots given in positions 3-6 is 18. Players must be positioned based on handicap, and not exact handicap In the Away Team Sally is 6.3, and John is 5.5 but is playing lower in the order.

3 Game 1 – Pete v Olivia Played off Scratch
As a Boy v Girl match each hole is played against his or her par for the hole. Note the his or her PARs differ on holes 2 & 16

4 Game 2 – Jane v Sally Played off Scratch
As a same gender match and is in position 2 (Scratch) then each hole is won, lost or halved based on gross score.

5 Game 3 – Paul v John Played off Handicap (max 18 shots)
As a Boy v Boy match the full difference of the handicaps is calculated. John has a handicap 6 Paul has a handicap of 7 so has to give John 1 shot on Stroke Index 1 which is hole 12

6 Game 4 – Bob v Ted Played off Handicap (max 18 shots)
As a Boy v Boy match the full difference of the handicaps is calculated. Ted has a handicap 27 Bob has a handicap of 8 so the difference is 19 shots. The maximum number of shots allowed is 18 so only 1 shot is given on every hole.

7 Game 5 – Louise v Harry Played off Handicap (max 18 shots)
As a Girl v Boy match each hole is played against his or her stroke index, AND against his or her nett score against par of the hole. Louise has a handicap of 8 so receives a stroke on stroke index holes 1-8. Harry has a handicap 27 so the difference is 19. Harry must play off 26 to comply with the max difference of 18 shots. He will receive 2 strokes on every hole stroke index 1-8, and 1 stroke on all other holes, Note the his or her PARs differ on holes 2 & 16

8 Game 6 – Jack v David Played off Handicap (max 18 shots)
As a Boy v Boy match the full difference of the handicaps is calculated. Jack has a handicap 28 David has a handicap of 28 so there is no difference therefore no shots are applied in the game
