Every student is aiming for a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE)
OP and VET students are all aiming for the result that will set them
on the path they have chosen

OP System is being replaced by a new system of senior assessment and tertiary entrance
This group of students is the last group to use the current system

11. How will being the last group
affect my child?
Many students are taking an alternative pathway to the OP system to get to university or TAFE
Strong competition for the smaller group remaining in OP
This group will be the last who sit the QCS test
