We complete corrections in this class for quizzes as a redo instead of re-quizzing.
It is much more valuable for you to understand why you missed a question and prove to me that you can explain why your corrected answer is the right choice.
• You can complete corrections IF YOU MADE LOWER THAN AN 80
• Answer the claim and evidence/reasoning boxes in COMPLETE SENTENCES.
• You must FULLY COMPLETE ALL BOXES in order to get some credit back for a missed question.
• The highest you can make with quiz corrections is an 80
(I will take the amount of points it takes you to get to an 80 and divide that by the number you missed, that will be how many points you can receive for each FULL, CORRECT corrected answer)
• You have ONE WEEK from the day the quiz grades are put in E-school to turn in corrections.

Body cells that require large amounts of energy will contain a large number of mitochondria. A
Mitochondria are membrane-bound organelles found in eukaryotic cells. These organelles, nick-named the ‘power houses’, are where cellular respiration take place. Cellular respiration is a process in which chemical reactions using carbohydrates creates ATP, which is a cellular energy molecule. So, the more mitochondria in a cell, the more energy that can be produced.
Two types of cells that contain many mitochondria are muscle cells and sperm cells.
Muscle cells have an increase in mitochondria because they are used for movement. More energy is needed for the contracting of the muscle tissue.
Sperm cells contain many mitochondria because they have to travel through the female reproductive system in a short amount of time. This requires a lot of energy.
