Vocabulary Supple (adj) – soft and bends easily. Her supple fingers danced over the piano keys. Disregard (v) – To decide that something or someone is not worth paying attention to. Jason has determined to disregard anything Ms. Conant says. Gnarled (adj) – wrinkled and twisted usually due to age. Her gnarled fingers made it difficult for her to zip her jacket.

Dramatic Irony Tool used by writers to make stories more interesting and to sustain the attention of the reader. It generates curiosity. Allows the reader/audience to be more involved.
