2. Step One A Complete the application for admission form in the Admissions Office Bldg. 15-113 or complete online at www.scc.spokane.edu. www.scc.spokane.edu Or See Kim and Megan tonight!

3. Step One B Apply for financial aid by completing your Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.scc.spokane.eduwww.scc.spokane.edu Running Start students do not apply because their tuition is paid by the state of Washington through the public school system.

4. Step Two A Schedule your COMPASS placement test in the Assessment Testing Center Bldg 15-112 or phone 509.533.7074. At the time of your test, bring your picture ID and receipt.

5. Step Two B Request official college transcripts from all previous colleges be sent to SCC (this would include SFCC transcripts) Meet with a counselor if you have questions about how credits transfer

6. Step Three Pay your $15 application fee and $20 testing fee I. Online at www.scc.spokane.eduwww.scc.spokane.edu II. At the Cashier in Bldg. 50-118.

7. Step Four After completing your placement test, attend a group advising session to obtain an understanding of student processes and services. Sign up for FYI-First Year Introduction; a college orientation class.

8. Step Five For Running Start Students Only Meet with your high school counselor to obtain your Running Start Course Recommendation Form (you must meet with your high school counselor every quarter prior to registering for your classes).

9. Step Six For Running Start Students Only Submit: I. Running Start Course Recommendation Form II. SCC Running Start Agreement Form III. Letter of Eligibility for Free and Reduced Lunch (if you qualify) By mail or in the Transfer Center drop-box, Bldg 15-120.

10. Step Seven After meeting all admission requirements, you will be notified in writing of your registration access time Watch your mail at home and check e-mail regularly

11. Step Eight You may now register for classes either on campus at a kiosk or on the web at www.scc.spokane.edu.www.scc.spokane.edu

12. Step Nine Go to the Bldg 16-166 for your student ID card. Bring picture ID, student number and class schedule.

13. Step Ten Traditional students will pay attention to tuition deadlines to insure that their tuition is paid Running Start Students pay mandatory fees if not covered by Letter of Eligibility for Free-Reduced Lunch; tuition for courses numbered below 100 and over 18 credit per quarter.
