3. Things to Remember
Plain white t-shirt/tank top, appropriate length shorts, cheer shoes
Hair should be pulled back
Water Bottle
No Jewelry
Nails cut and free of polish
Long nails = no stunting = no score

All squads are separate this year. On your tryout form you will check the boxes next to the squads for which you wish to be considered. Cheerleaders will be placed according to a combination of their preferences and our needs.

5. Scoring Jumps, Stunting, Cheer, Chant, Dance Tumbling - bonus
Must be able to perform tumbling during season.

Scores are final. Placements are final.
If you quit a squad then you will no longer be eligible to be in the cheerleading program.

Spirit Squads
Every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Times TBA. You may miss 4.
Competition Cheerleading
Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the SPX gym. TBD on times. Subject to change.

7. Cheerleading Camp Competition Camp Spirit Camp June 10-12 -Atlanta

Cheerleading camp is mandatory for all cheerleaders. Failure to inform coaches of inability to attend at the time of tryouts WILL result in your dismissal from the squad. There is a question on your tryout form requiring you to let us know of any attendance issues.

8. Physicals MUST have a physical on file before June 4.
You may not participate in cheerleading activities or workouts until that physical is on file. No exceptions.
Pius Physicals – May 17th
This is required unless you already have a physical on file by this time or can show your coach the date your physical is scheduled.
Cost - $30.00

Fees for cheerleading include camp costs and all practice wear for the year. Depending on which squad you join and whether you’ve cheered before, your costs will vary from $ – $ The payments will be split between two FACTS payments - one in June and one in July.
