May 2013 Pilot Convergence Program for Workers in the Informal Sector Thru the SDC Subcommittees on Informal Sector and Social Protection Lead agencies: NEDA, DSWD, DOLE

5 2014: Launch of the ABND exercise in the Philippines
May 2014 The United Nations Country Team (UNCT) met and expressed their support for the ABND Philippines exercise. ILO met with DOLE to present the ABND process and its relevance for the country.

6 2014: Launch of the ABND exercise in the Philippines
May 2014 Several stakeholders met to understand the details of the ABND methodology, discuss the launch of the ABND exercise and set up of a Core Group (CG) for the exercise. NEDA DOLE DSWD NAPC DBM PSA ECOP FFW UNCT

7 2014: Launch of the ABND exercise in the Philippines
June 2014 DOLE presented the ABND exercise at the joint Social Development Committee (SDC) cabinet level and Human Development and Poverty Reduction (HDPR) cluster meeting and received the commitment of the agencies to the ABND. The Core Group had its first meeting to decide on its tasks and responsibilities, and to come up with a work plan for the coming months. DOLE requested NEDA to co-chair the ABND process with them.

June to October 2014 Conduct of bilateral meetings with National Government agencies in the Core Group, including PHIC, SSS, SSC, GSIS, TUCP, APL, ALLWIES, NCDA An overview of the ABND was presented to the HDPR cluster and the NEDA SDC Technical Board and updated on the activities on 27 November Initial meeting with PSA to discuss the Rapid Assessment Protocol (RAP) model. December 2014 The ABND exercise was presented to NEDA Regional Directors

January 2015 DOLE issued Administrative Order No to create a Technical Working Group (TWG) to conduct the ABND process. February 2015 Latest ABND Core Group meeting to finalize the ABND matrix in preparation of the Multi-partite Island-wide Consultations
