Dorothea Lange Born in New Jersey on May 26, 1895.
Studied photography at Columbia University in New York. Moved to San Francisco and in 1919 established her studio.

Employed by the Farm Security of Administration (FSA). Was well known by the photograph the “Migrant Mother”. Thompson, thirty two year old women, mother of seven kids.
