Current scope of Platform Abstraction is fault Management FM Agent Queries/informs Fault Manager To determine the readiness of the system for switchover. Informs fault manager that through HPI means it reset the peer controller. AVD/AVND Heartbeat loss of the peer controller is passed to FM. Fault Manager indicates to Agent Asynchronous indication to FMA requests. OpenSAF HISv is initially contributed based on ATCA based system. It handled Managed hot-swap model Entity path management intelligence is built in to the code rather than providing configurable option for different platforms.
