2007- Watson devised the art project ‘Wild Song At Dawn’ at Liverpool's Alder Hey Children's Hospital
FORMA Arts & Media commission Watson to create the multi channel sound installation ‘Whispering In The Leaves’ for the Palm House at London’s Kew Gardens
2010- Watson is invited to compose a soundtrack to John Constable’s ‘The Cornfield’
2010- A commission by the British Film Institute to compose a soundtrack to the silent film ‘Underground’
2012-Won the BPG ‘Radio Personality of the Year’ Award for ‘The Wire’.

Chris Watson describes his approach to sound recording as ‘putting a microphone where you can’t put your ears’
Preferences:
Prefers power to come from the recorder itself
Uses Sennheiser HD25 headphones
Techniques:
He has a specific technique for setting up the
ideal monitoring levels
Uses limiters and low-pass filters
